Well, I thought that it was about time to start a blog of my own since so many of my friends have a blog of their own. So here it is. It may be pretty sparse at first, but I hope to have a lot to fill it up with in 2008!
For those of you who don't already know, Stephen and I found out we are expecting our second child sometime in August! We are so excited, but nervous at the same time. After losing Babe B. so late in the pregnancy and to something that possibly could have been spotted, it has been hard to know what to think of this pregnancy. We are of course excited, but also very on edge! It didn't help when I had some spotting this last week and was confined to bed for the whole weekend! All is well as far as we know. We will post the first sonogram pictures as soon as we see a hearbeat. In the meantime, we have decided to have everyone call this child "Herm." Herm is a mixture of Her and Him. We decided to find out what we are having, but we are not telling anyone else. It seemed pretty clever to me to just put him and her together. Not to mention, Herm sounds a lot better than "It" or "Baby." So there it is!
