The Latest On Herm

Herm's heartbeat is a whoping 169 beats per min. That would make me pass out!

Herm has a backbone! The radius is Herm's elbow and the hand is near Herm's face.

Herm HeadOn (not applied directly to the forehead). (The uterus, bladder and cervix belong to me, not Herm). The doctor seemed very pleased to get such a great shot of the cervix.

Well, Herm is no longer a blob. I know a lot of people have trouble reading sonogram pictures, but hopefully some of the labels will help. Herm did look like a baby a few times during our visit, but these pictures don't show that very well. He/She is still quite small, not to mention a MOVER! He/She is following in his/her sister's footsteps! Herm moved several times throughout this process. For those of you who don't know, the central nervous system is just now developing, so most of these movements are involentary at the moment. Because I have had such a problem with gas and bloating, I can't say for sure that I have felt movement yet. With Babe B. I felt it at 10 weeks on the dot. We will see what the next few weeks brings. For now we know that Herm is doing very well. His/Her heartrate was measuring high like Babe B.'s. That is very common at this stage. Oh, and we searched for the blood that the doctor saw pooling last time. It is no longer there! We are looking very good! That was enough to releive me for at least two more weeks! I will start worring again soon, I am sure!
God Bless!
