Elmo's World!
After I had posted the last post, I was able to catch this on video. I scripted it below the video in case it is difficult to understand.
Script: *singing* Elmo's world theme. Elmo's WORLD!!
Hey welcome to Elmo's World!
Can I help you Elmo?
I need some food!
Okay!
The food (something I am not sure of) make it fast!
Okay! What I sinking (thinking) about?
Elmo, I want some peas first.
Okay. You want some peas?
Hide Hide Hide!!
Elmo's World's over.

Gearing Up!!
With only a few more days before Elmo comes to town and a few more spots (3) on her potty sticker chart, Jesstine is gearing up for the show!! Elmo's Healthy Heroes will be here this weekend! Jesstine has been working really hard to get to go! Despite being sick all week last week, she was able to tell me she had to potty (#1 and #2) every time! There were no accidents except for ones that I wouldn't even have been able to catch if it were me needing to go potty. Yesterday she gathered all of her Sesame Street toys she could find and they had a cuddling session under her "yittew tabow" (little table). She sure is CUTE! (As if you didn't already know that!)
Look out Elmo! Here we come!!

Feeling Better!!!
Jesstine is feeling MUCH better! Just in time too! We had plans to take Jesstine and some friends that we babysit every other Sunday, to a Thunder hockey game tonight. It was the last regular season home game and it started about 2 hours earlier than most of the games do! We were really worried that Jesstine wouldn't be well enough to go! She was and she ate a LOT too! So here are a few highlights from the game. It was a 7 or 8 to 1 victory over Mississippi! No good fights really. Also we really were hoping to get a picture of Jesstine with Thunder Dog because she loves him SO much! He wasn't around much tonight. Maybe we can go to a playoff game sometime in the next month and FINALLY get a picture! If not, we may have to invite him to her birthday party!
Jesstine, Kristina (7) and Konrad (10).At one point, Lloyd looked up at Kim and gave this great big smile. He then reached down and grabbed Jesstine's hand and they stayed like that for a while! We are not sure what to think about that for MANY reasons!!

Spring Break
This week, we had only our second ER trip since she was born. My poor girl hasn't been able to keep anything down in the last 4.5 days! Not even water!
Yesterday she was up and playing.
Today, she won't move from the couch. This is the girl who won't dare sleep in the car on a long trip because the DVD playing is WAY more interesting! She fell asleep this afternoon in front of the tv. She looks SO uncomfortable when she is awake! Hoping this is just a virus and nothing serious! What a spring break!

8 years
Eight years ago today, I married my sweetheart!
At this time eight years ago, I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and say those two words that I always wanted to say. I remember it like yesterday. I was the only one actually finished dressed. I was all ready and holed up in a little room off of the foyer of the church. I was sitting on a cooler so that I would be able to fan my dress out over the outsides of it instead of sitting on it (if that was even possible).
A little while later, we filed out and stood in the hallway next to the men's restroom waiting for our turn. My brother, who had dressed in his dress blues, was going to give me away. He looked over at me and said, "Don't trip and don't faint!" The ceremony (aside for the music debacle) was everything I had ever hoped for. It was simple and sweet. One of the most memorable moments was getting down the aisle and being passed into my soon-to-be's hands.
We couldn't take our eyes off of each other throughout the whole ceremony. It was SO much fun! We were beyond twitterpatted!

I am still so much in love with the man I promised to go through life with that day. We have both changed through the years, but our love only changes for the better! If I had to choose anyone to go through life's ups and downs with, I would choose Stephen! As it turns out, God chose for us! He has seen me at my worst and my best and has never turned away from me. We have endured the greatest loss a parent can go through and we did it together. So here's to my handsome husband on our eighth anniversary!!!

They Grow Up So Fast!!!
It is something that people always say about their children, but you never know until you are the one witnessing it!! Today was a bit warmer than normal and the house was hot inside! Jesstine woke up sweating, so I changed her into some warmer weather clothing. I put her in some capri pants that at about this time last year were falling off of her so much they looked like full length pants!! Today they could be considered bermuda shorts! I guess this means that I won't be able to go a third summer in a row with her wearing the same shorts!
